Restaurant & Bar at Playa de Oro



This front and rear view of the restaurant and bar will soon change as the palm fronds are added over the roof to make it the tallest Palapa in the area. 25 feet tall! Visible for miles, it will be "the in place" to drink and dine. Overlooking the development and pools, there is no more spectacular view in the area. Opening in Jan. 2004.

 


While it's a little larger than first anticipated, it's absolutely perfect.

The Playa de Oro crew had its Christmas Party inside the soon to be completed restaurant and bar.


 


Crew opens their gifts from Playa de Oro including shirts, sweatshirts, and crewnecks. They enjoyed a raffle ranging from down-filled blankets and hot chocolate to flashlight sets and soccer balls. Before calling it a day, presents were given to everyone to take home to their families. For some, these gifts will be one of the few they will have this holiday season.

The party was a grand success with plenty of cervezas, pizza, and soda for everyone - hummm seems to me there was plenty of left over pizza for the workers to take home and share with their families, too.
