                             Class Name

Each school year the students choose a name for the total class to go by.  Some past choices have been "The Stars" and The Angels."  This year the class voted to call themselves "The Christian Children."  This gives them a lot to live up to as they strive to show kindness and caring to others everyday by the things they say and do.

Homework Policy

Homework is usually given on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  It is due the next day.  Students who return  all homework on time receive a reward at the end of the quarter.  Students who are absent will have time to make up missed homework assignments.  Homework generally supports and extends reading and writing skills.  Sometimes homework assignment days will vary due to holidays, etc.  You will be notified when this happens.



Read for Books

This program usually starts after Christmas Break.  The children read books, write book reports, and earn points to receive free books.  This is a popular program that stimulates a greater love of reading as well as gives students a chance to use writing skills and share books they like.
