This web site is an excellent resource to learn more about our system.  Most of the information comes from Kyoshi Jerry Gould, but Sensei Rittersporn put it together nicely for all to enjoy.  This site also has one of the best sources for other martial art links, and some information on great books.

Information on different styles of karate from Okinawa.

Patrick McCarthy is one of the leading experts on karate and its history.  There is much information on the history of the art along with some very rare photographs.  He is also selling video tapes and books that are a must have for any style.  Sensei Schug and Kyoshi Gould go way back with Sensei McCarthy as they competed against each other many times.

This site offers information on many different styles of martial arts. There are links to other web sites as well as information on dojos around the world. You could probably spend a day there and not see everything. Very informational.
