Please bear in mind that these files have been extracted from the microfilms procured from the LDS by volunteers.  The original records were handwritten either in the Old German Script or in the Russian Cyrllic language.  Records are often difficult to read, contain water spots, faded ink, worm holes, and are missing pages or parts of pages, the handwritting leaves much to be desired and often one record will often be written by 4 or 5 different priests or pastors requiring the extractor to “get used to” a whole new alphabet form used by the new recorder.  Please also bear in mind that these extractors are  volunteers and are not professional translators.  Please report any mistakes found in these records to me and I will attempt to verify the information given and correct the records.
