AMERICAN HUMANE ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES...

A PARTNERSHIP FOR PETS

The PETS 911 public service is free to both the public and all animal welfare organizations through the generous support of corporations such as AT&T, Authority Premium Pet Nutrition, Microsoft, PETsMART, Wells Fargo and others. PETS 911 is the only resource needed to access the most comprehensive database of pet welfare information in the country.

Enter your zip code and PETS 911 effortlessly provides you with local, community specific information--including the nearest adoption facilities, the ability to search for a lost pet or enter the description of one you've found, low-income spay/neuter clinics, how to volunteer with or donate to local organizations, general health care tips, emergency care and much more.

In the event that this form doesn't work, go to www.1888PETS911.org or dial toll-free 1-888-PETS-911.

PETS 911 was founded in 1999 in response to a national outcry for a public access hotline/website to connect the nation's 7,500 animal welfare organizations together and provide a single call-to-action for pets. Its mission: To create a resource to aid in the effort of saving the lives of millions of pets each year by empowering citizens with current/local animal welfare information, thereby enabling them to protect not only their own pets, but those in their community as well. PETS 911 is a sister program to the nation's official Environmental Hotline/website, Earth's 911 (1-800-CLEANUP or www.1800CLEANUP.org) - which has for the past ten years provided a nationwide single call-to-action for local information on where to recycle and/or participate in local environmental programs.
