mink kitten.
Every kitten born here is special to us and we do our best to insure
they
are going to a good home (or qualified breeding program).
![]() Prices: Our kittens are priced individually by their temperament, quality, pedigree, patterns, color, and other factors. We try to keep our prices reasonable, and offer payment options, so that anyone who is qualified and really wants one of these lovely kitties can enjoy one. [And, because we know how nice it is for a kitten to go to a new home with a companion, if you purchase 2 kittens (related or not) at the same time, we offer a discount of 25% off the full price of the second kitten.] Those prices still out of your budget? We have, from time to time, retired adults and older kittens at far lower prices, and occasionally have kittens for less. We are also open to kitten back or other "creative" options for breeding kittens/cats going into responsible programs. So, don't hesitate to inquire on these or on the possibility of payments (see below).
Deposits & Waiting Lists We require 2 types of deposits. The first deposit simply puts you ON the waiting list for ANY kitten. The second deposit holds your choice of a specific kitten (or one of a specific color & sex from a particular litter). To get on the waiting list (for ANY kitten or cat) is $50. At the time you send this deposit, we need to know your first and second choices (3rd too if you'd like) of: 1. quality (pet, show alter, breeder, championship show) 2. color (Lynx point, mink/sepia, brown) 3. pattern (spotted or marbled) 4. sex 5. personality (active, friendly, quiet, talkitive, outgoing, playful, easy going, able to get along with other pets/children, etc. 6. parent(s) (if you have a preference there). The $50 first deposit is subtracted from the amount of the second deposit for your chosen kitten. We keep you apprised of litters as they arrive and what is in those litters. Note: I keep seperate waiting lists; so, if you've requested a female bst and we only get a male bst, we would not be notifying you of this kitten as he isn't what you're on the waiting list for. Likewise, if you've requested a snow or marble you would not be informed of this kitten. (So, it is important to let us know your 2nd and 3rd choices so that you are included in those lists.) Everyone is notified in order of their position on the waiting list and I do tell you where you are on the list. As soon as you've chosen a specific kitten, a deposit of half the price of that kitten (minus the $50) is due immediately and your contract is sent for you to return with this deposit. This assures you that (s)he is YOUR kitten. [Important: This kitten is not held until the deposit and signed contract are received. If 2 people are interested in the same kitten, I take the first deposit & contract received.] (To be totally fair, you would always be aware of someone else inquiring about this kitten and they would be aware of your interest, as well.) The balance is due within 30 days (with the additional fees and shipping due 2 weeks before the delivery or shipping date) unless we've agreed to other arrangements. As soon as you've named your baby, we begin calling your kitten by that name until (s)he is delivered to you. (We also collar the kitten with your name so there are no mix ups and people who visit us in person are aware this kitten is not available.) No kitten is held until a deposit of ½ it's purchase price is received. I can not stress enough the importance of these deposits, we just can't hold any cat or kitten without a deposit. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh. However, if we take a kitten off the market because someone was planning on purchasing him, and then they don't come through, that kitten is harder to sell when (s)he's older. So, until the deposit for 1/2 the purchase price has been received, the cat or kitten is still considered "for sale". [Note: on the web site, any kitten who I know has a contract in the mail with a deposit on the way, is labeled: "possibly taken".] We are happy to take a VISA, Mastercard, Discover card; or, a payment schedule can be worked out. But with a payment schedule, the kitten stays here until FULLY paid for and would not be removed from the "for sale" list until your 1st payment is received. [The "possible taken" notice would be placed on the web site.] (Once the 1st payment is received, we will consider the kitten sold as long as payments continue to be received on time.) Your last payment (including all shipping costs & expenses) must be received by the time the kitten is 4 months old, or a specific and agreed upon and contracted for.) [If you are making payments on your kitten, it would NOT be sold out from under you; however, someone else interested in that kitten would be told that there is someone ahead of them and if you default, THEN the kitten would go to them.] Our Contract, Warrantee, & Terms |
