Our Cattery
Our "Cattery" is our home.  Most of our kitties have free roam of the house.  So the livingroom, kitchen, dining room, etc. are the main cattery.  This is the area where most of the girls, older kittens, & weanlings live.
Livingroom:
Kitties nap all over the livingroom, this is the bunk bed that Tracy made for our kitties last Christmas.
Buddy with his grandson enjoy the view.  (This was before the porch was enclosed.)
Loki fell asleep one night on my feet while I was watching a movie.
Silky tries to see if there is room for one more on the back of the chair.
A pile of lazy kittens snooze the afternoon way in my bentwood rocker.
Any sleeping place is fair game, even on me!!  I came home from work with a headache the night this was taken and Ken snapped this without my knowledge.
Buddy gives Ken one of his famous shoulder "hugs".  We are always cautioning visitors about Buddy's now famous "shoulder leaps".
Kitchen:
This is also where some of the flying and other "sports" take place. Stormy is showing off for his sister (lower left and Lizi right).
Sierra seems to fancy herself a budding food critic and is often found watching the "pots".
Just off the livingroom is the kitchen where the majority of the feeding naturally takes place.  (Talk about a zoo!!)
They all must check out the recent grocery delivery and Breezy seems think there should be more.

Bed & Bath Rooms:

Above is Urithi with her baby on the bed, and she also happens to be the "marble" kitten with her siblings in the other picture taken the year before (below).
Deedee's oops litter (Urithi is the only marble) on the bed.  They'd all been asleep in a pile when I disturbed them to get dressed.
When our f3, Libby, was ready to have her first babies in the bedroom, we made her a "cave" with a large carrier and blankets.  She loved it!!
Kittens are usually born in the bedroom or bathroom and remain there with their mom's until at least 6 weeks when they've had their first shots.  Above is Li'l Pix with her babies (Maxx facing the camera).
Shadows kittens play on a plastic milk crate (above the heat register) in front of the dryer.
Prince plays in the tub.  He loved the water!!  He was in isolation because of a high titer.
Front Porch:
Our kitties all love the porch! The Sokoke kittens in this photo were in heaven.  This was taken just after it was finished and they were still exploring it.
In the Winter we don't allow them out for as long as the rest of the year.  They haven't gotten the knack of "asking" to come back in and want the door left open.  So you can see why we limit it.
Stud Quarters:
Densi sits on one of his triangular purches watching Lizi.  This is a double pen that can be divided by sliding a board just below the solid piece just behind him in the photo.
Another shot of Densi's quarters. On the opposite side of the room is another pen which is divided so at the moment is half the size of this one.  These quarters are in one of the extra upstairs bedrooms.
Jr. Boys Quarters:
Just behind the door as you enter, is a litter box and the well used condo.  The shot opposite shows the same condo with the bed in the background and the window on that end of the room.
In one closet area we've enclosed that for a seperator ped.  Right now Kator boy is there as one of the other boys picks on him.  In the past we've had girls that don't get along with someone in the downstairs community or need to be separated for some reason.
In the other upstairs bedroom across from the Stud room, is the room that our boys that are young enough that they will still get along and are usually still for sale but are too old to take the risk of them impregnating one of the queens downstairs.  Usually their moms and sisters, and other close relatives are there.
They have the full room to themselves to romp and play.
