Illuzion offers a 5-day unconditional guarantee. Within
that time cat/kitten may be returned for any reason for
a
full
refund of the purchase price.
Wyld Illuzion's health warrantee covers viral and bacterial diseases, fungus infections, internal and external parasites, and congenital or inheritable defects up to one (1) year. For this warrantee to be valid, cat must be examined by a licensed Veterinarian within five (5) working days of delivery, pick up, or shipping date. Breeder's decision to be made upon receipt of a written statement, thoroughly describing the cause, from a practicing and licensed Veterinarian, and after consultation with breeder' Veterinarian. If the buyer's licensed Veterinarian determines the illness was present prior to the delivery of the kitten/cat, the breeder should be contacted at once -- before any major treatment has begun (except in emergency situation). Buyer may request exchange of the cat for another of equal value, or reimbursement of any reasonable expenses. (Note: Breeder reserves the right to request a second opinion.) Please note that during times of stress, such as going to a new home, cats can exhibit temporary signs of illness which may include: sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, diarrhea, and/or constipation. The breeder is not liable for veterinary fees for stress related diseases or for environmentally induced diseases such as allergy and toxin exposure. To help reduce the signs of stress, feed the cat identical food as the breeder (supplied) and offer bottled water (for at least one week, changing gradually, to your usual food & water). Take other reasonable measures to reduce stress by slowly introducing kitten/cat to the house and the members of the family, as well as temporarily limiting the time they are with strangers, children and other animals. Our cats are fed Mazuri at all times with fresh water. Kittens under 4 months of age are also given two small feedings (1-2 Tbls) of canned Nutro Maxx Kitten. All of our cats are supplemented with NuVet Vitamins. Note, we so strongly believe in the food and vitamin regiment that failure to keep them on this routine will cancel this contract in regards to diarrhea or any nutritional problems. Bengals are very sociable animals who enjoy being with people and other cats. Please take time to play, talk and love your new kitty. Call them by name and welcome him/her slowly into your family. Our Bengals are somewhat talkative and enjoy having "conversations" with the humans who "belong" to them. Our contract is designed to protect us; you, the buyer; and most of
all, the
cat/kitten sold, as well as act as a receipt of payment(s). I
will not attempt to do
it word for word here, but I'm more than happy to send a copy on
request.
I discourage allowing your kitty outside, unless on a leash or in an enclosed area and request no declawing. These are all for the benefit and safety of your kitty. I ask that photos be sent to me at a year, year and a half, and then at 1 year intervals. This allows me to see how the kittens grew up and to adjust my breeding program accordingly. I also request notification of titles and awards (if the cat is shown) and when and why the kitty passes away for the same reason. (Longevity and susceptibility to disease are inherited and this gives me long range information on my lines.) For Breeding and Showing Cats: As mentioned above, I follow my kittens and would require the same info as above when a breed or show kitten is sold. In addition, a record of the kittens produced (colors, patterns, health, # lived?, # did not live - why? - if known or best guess) is requested. This, again, is for my records on the lines I'm using so I have as much complete information as can be gathered on what my breeding cats are carrying. I require retirement of queens after 7 litters or 4 years of breeding and males after 4 years of breeding. Males are for the sole uses of the breeder sold to and not for use as outside studs (unless previous agreements are placed in our contract). My breeding animals can not be sold as breeders without contacting me first. This helps me to keep tract of my cats and the information I'm trying to gather. I request notification of titles earned by showing cats including those in the Alter class. As I said, these can be discussed and we can usually come up with other arrangements that are satisfactory to both of us, if necessary, and still protect the kitty who is my main concern. Please contact me and we can discuss anything that is of concern. I know my contract is stiff but I can be flexible, if the situation warrants it. |
