Habitat: near berry bushes
Seasonal - 1st seen: mid-April, last seen: late fall
These photos were taken after two Cedar Waxwing chicks fell out of their nest. (7/14-17/2006)
We saved them by rehydrating them and feeding them blueberries.
We then put them in a basket near a tree to where the parents could take over their feeding.
After a couple of days, the chicks regained their strength climbed into the adjacent tree.
