Although admired for his strong convictions in faith, there is a question of judgement of the visual content shown within this bi-fold album.

Surviving a 1961 small plane crash and fire, Merrill shares graphic medical photos of his before and after facial reconstruction surgeries.

 

  I purchased this Beatle gem soon after it's release in the early 60's. It had the other cover pasted over it. Years later, I steamed off the `Politically Correct' cover and saw first hand what all the fuss was about.

Ironically this is the most valuable record in my entire collection...

 

Hogan's Heros (from the same name TV sit-com about a WWII prison camp) cheerfully sing songs from World War II.

The cover shows two 3rd world children, malnurished and diseased, trying to eat a cracker with flies digging into their open head sores. The background has cutouts of happy European and US children portrayed in idyllic X-mas scenes.
