River City Gardeners was formed in July of 2002. We started out small, and just grew and grew! This is an organization of gardeners from Post Falls, Idaho and the surrounding communities, who love to garden, and want to get together to share ideas and show off their yards! One of the nicest things that we do, is tour other member's yards Spring through Summer. Every yard is as different as the gardener who loves it, and reflects the personality of that member. In the Spring and in the Fall the garden club hosts a plant exchange. It is a great way to share something from your yard that others have admired, and to get something new for your yard that seems to grow well in a fellow member's yard. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month, 7p.m. at the Post Falls Library unless otherwise noted in the calendar. The programs have interesting subjects, and informative speakers. Membership Information: Membership in the River City Gardeners is $12 per year, payable on the 1st of January. Discounts are available at our local nurseries and garden shops for members. Our Membership Chairperson is Jo Rheinschmidt. |
