Section C Mares

*Parc Dainty
(Lyn Cwmcoed x Parc Danna by Synod William)
Liver chestnut with irregular white, foaled 1982. Dainty was born at Mr. Sam Morgan's famous Parc Stud near Lampeter, Wales. Though a small C, Dainty makes up the difference in looks, movement and results. She was Grand Champion Cob under noted Welsh expert Dr. Wynne Davies, MBE, who pronounced her "a gold mine." She has also produced the exceptional stallion Supreme Champion Lascaux Local Hero, and his full brother Lascaux Oingo Boingo  '02 & '03 National Champion Halter winner to name but two. Her foals have been placed in new homes all over the U.S. In performance, Dainty does it all; she's a consistent winner in harness and also performs under saddle and over fences. Her foals are in great demand as breeding stock, as she is the only offspring of the very famous Royal Welsh winner Lyn Cwmcoed, in North America. We have retained her '03 fillly by *Popsters Mr. Moffatt.

Glendower Liberty
(Dawns Dathliad Arian y Penrhyn x *Synod Gay Tracy by Synod William)
"Libby", palomino, 12.3+. A Synod William grand daughter, Libby was our first C and was the catalyst for our choosing to breed this section. Her sweet temperament, beauty and willingness endeared her to us, and she passes these qualities on to her foals. She is a multi driving and halter champion and has produced foals that appear to be following in her footsteps. Her '04 colt by "Oliver" is a stunning example of what she produces.  He will be her last foal and is offered for sale.  See our sales page for more info.

Glendower Honeysuckle
(Dawns Dathliad Arian y Penrhyn x *Knockbridge Lyn by Synod William)
"Glenda", palomino, 13.2. Although a 3/4 sister (their mothers are half sisters) to Libby, Glenda has quite a bit more size and cobbiness to her. She and Libby share the same work ethic and willingness to please that we find so desirable in our ponies. In her first year of showing, Glenda won the 1998 "Grazing Field Farms" award for the WPCSA national high point cob! She repeated that prestigious win in '99 and was also 3rd nationally in Pleasure Driving and 4th in Western Pleasure, in addition to numerous regional championships in performance. Her '01 filly, Lascaux A Go-Go  recently won Champion Cob Mare under both the UK and US judges at the WPCSA Western National show!  Go-Go's liver chestnut '03 full brother is available for sale - see more info and a picture on our sales page. Glenda is bred to *Popster's Mr. Bojangles for June '05 foal.

*Brynmeillion Louise
(Parvadean Diplomat x Rhyd-ddu Llances)
Chestnut, sec. C, 13.2. "Lulu" is imported from the UK and a 1999 daughter of Parvadean Diplomat, a son of the legendary stock getter Synod Replay.  She has been shown-hand, and in performance in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Dressage and Hunter over fences.  She was the '03 WPCSA National Reserve Champion C.  In '04 she was the WPCSA National Reserve Champion Cob Hunter over Fences.  A true example of Welsh beauty and versatility, Lulu will be bred to *Popster's Mr. Bojangles for an '06 foal.

*Popsters Kismet
(Parvadean Lotta Bottle x Synod Lady Jasmin by Synod Roger)
"Kizzy" came to us from the UK as a weanling the end of '02 as a future addition to our broodmare band. She is palomino and should finish about 13.1. Her sire is a prolific winner both in hand and under saddle having won the ridden C class at the Royal Welsh show in the UK. Her dam is a daughter of the well-known Synod Roger and out of a daughter of Lyn Cwmcoed's full sister, Lili Cwmcoed. We have high hopes for this filly - both in the show ring and as a future producer for us. (see her sire at http://www.popstersstud.com/photo.htm he is the dun in the second picture)  Kizzy is now going well under saddle and will make an appearance in the show ring this season.  Recent photo of Kizzy coming soon!

Section D Mares

Cob Hills Lady Guinevere
(*Llanarth Maldwyn ap Braint x *Llanarth Dilys)
Bay, just under 15h. Guin is a multi Supreme Champion at a relatively young age and has already shown that she passes her quality on to her foals. Her latest Supreme Champion title was received under judge Ann Bigley, from the Llanarth stud, U.K., at the 1998 Northwest Welsh Classic Gold show. Judge Bigley also awarded Reserve Grand Champion Cob to Guin's weanling filly at the time "Lascaux Echo" (by Oliver). Guin's '99 colt, L. Bravo was Grand Champion cob and "Best Foal" over all sections at the '99 NWWC Western National show. Her 2002 colt by Oliver, L. Bolero, was named Grand Champion Cob at the OWPS show by Judge India Haynes when he was only 10 weeks old! If you want a breeding and performance cob, Guin will produce it! She is again bred to Oliver for an '06 foal.

Cairngan Maeve
(*Scole Flying Scotsman x *Scole Mai)
1995 dun sec. D,14.3
Maeve outdid herself in her first year showing by winning two Reserve Supreme Champion titles and numerous Grand Championships in-hand to be the NW region High Point Cob Mare. She was also very successful under saddle winning English Pleasure divisions and doing well in the Hunter divisions to win WPCSA National Reserve Champion High Point English Pleasure and Hunter titles. She also received high scores in dressage at open shows. After proving herself in the show arena she has begun to do the same as a brood mare. Her first filly, L. Moonshadow (by Oliver), was a winner in-hand and Reserve Grand Champion Cob her first time out at the 2002 EEWPS Show under Judge Ann Hackney. Maeve's '05 foal by Oliver will be available for sale.  See the sales page for the latest updates.

*Scole Sally
(Trevallion Cadno x Scole Seringo)
Bay, just under 15h. Foaled in 1982 at Mrs. Dale's Scole Stud in Scotland, Sally was imported by Mrs. Jean Robocker of Cairngan Farm in Kalispell, Montana. We were lucky enough to acquire this lovely mare from Jean in 2002. Sally is very sturdy, exceptionally friendly and in no way shows her 21 years. Her '03 and '04 colts by "Oliver" are available for sale.   They are nearly a perfect match and would make a wonderful driving pair, see more pictures and info on our sales page. Sally is again bred to "Oliver" for 2005. This will be her last foal as we feel she has earned a well deserved retirement!
