1. WEB PAGE OPTION(S): (100 pts max)
   1. Create an EASY ONLINE Self-grading QUIZ that suplements the current chapter using one of these 2 templates [QUIZ1][QUIZ2]. After opening one of the 2 templates in your web browser, choose FILE-SAVE AS and save to the desktop. Click on this desktop copy to open and edit in your web browser. Selecting View-Source in the browser will allow you to change the source code of the page using NOTEPAD editor. Be sure to change the questions, answers and vary the assigned correct answers. When done choose SAVE and refresh your browser to make sure it works. Upload it to your WEB FOLIO site and give the teacher the web address (or show to the teacher during class).
      
   2. Use Geocities Pagebuilder to whip up an online lesson covering a previous topic
      a. Title and original 100+ word explanation
      c. Detailed diagram done with PAINT (gif/jpg) or by hand & scanned
2. Educational Game Creation (200 pts max)
• Check out the class CD and install Klik-n-Play, Game Maker 4, or RPG Maker 2000. Each of these game engines comes with many tutorials and examples. Pick the engine that suits you and make an educational adventure game!
3. POWERPOINT TUTORIAL (100 pts max)
   • Create a student usable 5 slide minimum tutorial covering a specific chapter topic
     • Slide 1 : Title and topical paragraph with a relevant quality graphic and name of author (you)
     • Slide 2/3 : Specific descriptions of topic with detailed conceptual diagrams
     • Slide 4 : Test User on material covered in slides 2/3 with 2 different questions
     • Slide 5 : Provide correct answers and topics for further research

4. Quick BASIC Tutorial/Quizzer (100 pts max)
   • Using past QB lessons as your guide, make a graphic tutorial of a concept covered thus far
     1 screen with DRAW graphics and 100+ words of explanation,
     1 screen with 2 questions,
     1 screen with answers/explanations
5. Quick BASIC Educational Game Simulation (400 pts max)
• Complete all 12 lessons in the QBasic TUTORIAL [WORD] [RTF] and become an expert programmer!
  
6. POSTER (100 pts max)
• First, get permission from the teacher regarding the science topic you would like to present
  (the teacher expects you will be making something that can be used in future classes
  e.g. http://www.howstuffworks.com/).Use quality poster board and include:
  • Title and detailed topical paragraph
  • Detailed conceptual diagram and description
  • Graphic and description of its present uses in society
