Let them know that this is a socialistic land grab.  They must vote against this to preserve our private land.  Tell them to read the ENTIRE bill.  The first 20 pages are misleading but beyond that tells the true meaning of the bill.
It is an enormous pork barrel entitlement program.  If passed, it never gets voted on again and the land grab goes on regardless of who we elect in the future.

Notes:

  • Notice how much power is delegated to the Secretary of Interior.
  • Money is delegated to states but the regulations come down from Feds.
  • The Feds require an agenda for states (which must be updated at least every four years; this agenda is ONGOING) for the acquisition of private lands, made by the state gov. with the help of its citizens.  (notice the words required and acquisition)
  •  Notice under TITLE III it is  "the primary role of the States to conserve all wildlife;"
  • Under TITLE III Sec.303.def,  talks of reintroducing species into previously occupied range (i.e. wolves, grizzlies, and other predators)
  • The very last page states that moneys may also be used for law enforcement and education. WHY?

Encouraging News on H.R. 701 (from Liberty Matters)
Don Young’s "Road to Socialism" bill, H.R. 701, is facing two new challenges in Congress. At the beginning of the year, the bill was referred to the House Budget and Agriculture Committees and last week more members of Congress decided it should also be reviewed by both the House Commerce and Government Reform committees. Keep up the pressure!

The photo is perhaps the most amazing of the Twentieth Century; it is certainly the most curious. At first glance, the viewer may be disorientated and even uncomfortable at the sight of an exposed womb partially removed from a mother during an operation. Once the initial shock wears off, take a closer look toward the center of the photo and you will witness a miracle of life: the tiny hand of a 21-week-old fetus (Latin for baby) appears through a tiny slit in the womb; the surgeon, Dr. Joseph Bruner, who is about to perform a delicate operation, "instinctively took his hand." The fetus and Dr. Bruner are "holding hands."
