Dear Friends and Family,
We hope this note finds you all happy and healthy. We would
like to thank you who: kept us in your prayers; helped us out financially
with Seth’s medical needs; and have been there with a shoulder to cry on
or an open ear. We would also like to thank those who have done any of
the other precious little things that have helped us reach this point.
Seth is doing wonderfully. Last month we packed up all
the pumps, IV tubing, extra bandages and medications and took them all
back to the hospital. That week Seth got the lines used for giving
chemotherapy and IV nutrition taken out of his chest. It was a great
feeling seeing Seth on his way to being a regular little kid again!
Seth’s test results still show cancer in his bone marrow (75
cancer cells per 1 million healthy cells); however, the cancer doesn’t
seem to be spreading and all of his tumors are gone. Praise God!!!!!!!!
Up to this point we have done everything we can medically for Seth.
Seth will not be eligible for another transplant for 1 1/2 years.
All we can do now is pray and wait.
Seth is a busy little guy. Even though he can’t see, he
walks and runs through the house just like any two-year-old. He’s
discovered how to get into the toilet, and loves “car rides “ and “stroller
rides”. He can repeat just about any word you ask him to, but only
when he wants to of course. His favorite word is “NO”. Sammy
and Seth love to wrestle one another, and they are both getting used to
having their little brother Colson around.
Kale and Keely are doing well. They have more to be thankful
for each day. Kale has a new job working for Monaco in the Spokane Valley.
Our new edition, Colson Ray sleeps most of the day. Keely’s left
work to become a full time mom. Sam started gymnastics. We
are very thankful for our friends and family. Thank you again! Please
keep Seth in your prayers.
LOVE US,
Kale, Keely, Samantha, Seth, & Colson ;<)
