This idea was from someone on the lmb@bronco.com mail list. You know who
you are!
First you need a shop or garage or car port, something to hang four ratchet
straps from.

Remember to roll down your rear window completely, and leave it there!!!
If you don't the window will fall our, wrecking it and you!
Then unloosen all the bolts and body panels that hold the topper in place,
and slide two 2X4s (that's WOOD), underneath the top as shown.

Connect the four straps to the edges of the 2X4s and raise each corner
slightly, until the topper is free and clear.
Then drive the Bronco out... duh!

As they say in the Haynes Manual, 'Reverse the procedure to install the
topper'. It's easy and the topper is on two boards as they tell you to
do. I also used some 1/2 inch lag bolts to hold the top onto the 2X4s for
safety!
