I've just finished the engine. It was a little more work than
I had anticipated. The good news was that when I got inside,
it was very clean and did appear to have low miles on it. I replaced
the following,
- Double roller timing chain for good measure
- Oil pan and pickup
- Mopar Performance high volume oil pump
- Mopar performance valve covers
- Mopar Performance electronic ignition, with performance curve
- Edelbrock Performer carburator, 600 cfm, new rebuild
- Heddman shorty style headers
- Schweitzer Engineering Magnum motor mounts
- Felpro gasket set and all the other little stuff.
