Not So Random Thoughts...
July / August 2000

In a word, wow. A great deal has transpired in the last several months in and amongst our congregation. If at anytime in our lives, the teachings of Science of Mind have allowed us to both mourn and rejoice in the "graduation" of our beloved Gary. I have found it amusing, as Gary would have, of all the different terms we have come up with when one "makes their transition". Besides the two already used, I have heard - "passed away" - " gone to greener pastures" - "moved on" - "no longer needed the body" - and a few less endearing terms.

This got my mind working a little, and I saw the correlation between the number of terms we have for things that are some how indescribable or mysterious. The one that comes to mind the strongest, is God. At this point in my life, I am comfortable with this three-letter term for "Universal Mind", " Divine Intelligence", "Mother Nature" for the essence that joins us all deep inside. No matter which term one uses, we are referring to the same thing, in our own way, from where we are comfortable at this point in our lives.

Respecting where others are, and coming to meet them at their level is one of the greatest gifts one spirit can bestow on another. From it, both shall grow.

Keep the Love flowing, it does make a difference.
