Our Minister: Reverend Doris Gallagher - Minister, Teacher, Mentor, Friend, and all around wonderful Spirit. Born in Ontario Canada and raised in Minnesota then Oregon as a teen. Being a wife and mother of four children (and now 10 Grandkids!) in Seattle WA, Anchorage AK, Chico CA and to us in Spokane has given Reverend Doris the inspiration that there is more to life than meets the eye. While working at a newspaper, Doris received her Bachelor of Arts degree. Doris "discovered" Science of Mind in 1979 and she knew early on that becoming a minister of Religious Science was her calling. She followed her intuition, and believed in her dream, after 8 years of ministering in California, on July 9th, 1995 began her Sunday Lessons in Spokane. Each Sunday brings insightful lessons that always seem to be exactly what one needs to hear. The music you hear (if your browser supports inline MIDI file playback), John Lennon's Imagine is one of Rev. Doris favorite songs and we sang it at her ordination ceremony. Reverend Doris is available for counseling of any sort, you can contact her at the church, or privately at revdoris@msn.com. | |||

| Books: What's a spiritual journey without books? We each have our own way of understanding, and event though we may have read something many times, a certain author will come along and speak almost directly with our soul. With this in mind, the church houses a "metaphysical" bookstore - Choices - with many wonderful books by a variety of authors available for purchase. We may have the book you've been looking for, and if we don't, it can be ordered. From our love of books, and the desire to share them there is an ongoing book group that meets weekly to read and share the same book. Check our schedule for days, times and titles. A listing of the books we have in stock is being compiled and will be available soon. Church members also have access to our Lending Library, where we exchange many of our treasured books with one another. |
