Dear Member/Friend,
Asilomar has come and gone for another year, what an experience! I wish you all could have been there. Do program it into your prosperity consciousness for next year. It truly is life changing. Lilie, Myrna and I flew down on the same plane. We were to arrive about 9 PM Sunday evening. Due to fog in San Francisco we fell into bed at 3 am Monday morning. I'm told I snored so loudly that my roommate of several previous conferences had to poke me and tell me to turn over with the observation that in all those years she'd never heard me snore like that. (Thank you, God!) The walls are a little thin, so sometimes you even contend with muffled snores coming from your next-door-neighbors. A minor inconvenience compared to all the wonder you get to experience. On the plus side you get to hear parties, intriguing people and interesting conversations! You get to go to parties, too. Sooooo...We all survived. In fact we thrived!

Wonderfully talented and beautiful person David Ault wrote a song that says so perfectly how you feel in the awesome setting of this "refuge by the sea." It goes like this:

I return
To the Source of my creation
Opening
To my place of transformation
Now I see
Love lives in me
I return
To the glory of our Oneness
Flourishing
Fearless, free and fully conscious
Mightily
I stand and sing
I have returned.

You'll have to attend Asilomar for yourself to hear the beautiful melody. I've decided the best way to share with you is to do bits 'n pieces, quotes and perhaps misquotes, what I heard and what I thought I heard through my eyes and ears and heart from the many wonderful diverse expressions of God who were there, so here goes:

- All people are forms that God has taken.
- Everywhere you look it becomes harder to understand the universe without God.
- We are all created equal to become unequal by virtue of our consciousness.
- I plant the seed, God grows the tree. God has the hard part.
- Believe loving guidance is available for your soul.
- Understand intuition is God talking.
- Everything you hate and fight weakens you.
- Everything you are for empowers you.
- Believe you are able to manifest miracles.
- Dreams don't come true, they are true.
- Symptoms are visually dreams trying to come true.
- At a cellular level we know what we are supposed to know.
- Religion = reminder.
- Yes and no do not cancel each other out. They are both true.
- He who thinks is not bored.
- It is the capacity to be shaken up that is the key to growth.
- You shall know the truth and it shall make you mad!
- A lot of people seem to be afraid of becoming what they already are!
- About choice: Two signs - One says "To heaven." The other says, "Workshop on how to get to heaven."
- Workaholism you can put on your resume. Most addictions you can't.
- In our 20's we don't care what the world thinks of us
In our 30's we care a lot what the world thinks of us
At 40 we discover the world isn't thinking of us at all!
- People don't leave our lives because of something we do. People leave our lives because they have something to do.
- The universe is like a big zerox machine. It just produces multiple copies of our thoughts.
- The trouble with people doing nothing is...they never know when they are done!
- When you ride the elephant of the soul you can't go back to the jackass.
- I do not want to get on any airline where the pilot believes in reincarnation!
- Bumper sticker: Warning; dates on calendar are closer than they appear.
- In the contest between love and power, power seems to win. However love has the last word.
- Motion is not necessarily progress.
- Noise is not necessarily music.
- Know the truth and the truth will set you free, but first it will annoy you!
- You cannot give people what they want. You can only give them what you have.

This is merely a sampling of the wisdom and Truth dispensed from great minds, happy hearts and spiritual souls cleverly disguised as "human beans."
May some of these words touch you at a level that stirs your soul and inspires you to do little things with great love...for isn't that what it's all about? With love and respect for all of God's creation and that includes you!
Rev. Doris
