Town of
December/January Newsletter
The Town Hall office will be closed on December 30th and 31st,
for the Holiday Season, and
January 17th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.
Day.
Please remember to keep garbage cans and vehicles off of the streets
during snow times, to make it easier for Clint to plow the streets. The school bus routes are the first to be
plowed, which are 1st, 2nd, and
Remember to renew your dog and cat licenses, due by Jan 31st.
We still have a few coats left from the coat drive which ends the end
of December, so if anyone needs a coat, please come take a look. There are also lots and lots of free books,
and a lot of baby/toddler clothes as well.
The Town Council is asking for a volunteer to represent The Town of
Spangle on the Sheriff’s Advisory Board.
If anyone is interested, please contact town hall for more information.
The Town Council is still visiting Ordinance #345 regarding changing
the due dates for the utility bills, but at this time they are still due on the
10th of each month.
Recently there has been a rash of vandalism, crime and animal
abuse. Please make sure you immediately
call CRIME CHECK when you are witness to a crime,
suspicious activity, etc., as the town has a contract with the Sheriffs
Department. The number for CRIME
CHECK is 456-2233, this is an anonymous call. The only way to stop crime, is to call immediately,
town hall can do nothing after the fact.
The town council and town employees want to wish you a Safe and Happy
New Year!
